My name is Christopher Appiah, and I am a senior Mechanical Engineering major at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2026. I have a strong interest in control theory and its applications, with experience in exploring autonomous systems. In 2023, I was involved in the Estimation and Controls Laboratory at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where I analyzed the behavior of multiple pendulums through design, modeling, and simulation. This project required the use of MATLAB and Simulink workspaces to conduct a comparative error analysis across two simulation environments. Additionally, I possess knowledge of electronic hardware configuration and systems. In December 2024, I served as the lead programmer on a Machine Design Project, overseeing the Programmable Logic Controller for an automated sortation machine. In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching soccer, reading, and watching films.
